The student program will support undergraduate and graduate students studying electric power and energy systems within the United States. Students from non-US universities may be supported subject to the availability of industry sponsorship. All students will be required to submit an online application form, along with the conference registration, requesting housing support and a recommendation from a faculty mentor. Letter from the faculty mentor should indicate that he/she supports the student's attendance and will provide funding for the student's airfare and other expenses.  Students will also be encouraged to seek matching travel funds from their universities. There will be best student paper awards for outstanding student research presentations.
